the first De La Hoya fight was like his big coming out party, showed a ton of heart and beat the man who beat the man

i also like his fight against Collazo because it showed he could adapt to a tricky southpaw style even after a decent lay off, and then the Margo fight showed he still had heaps to offer the sport even in his twilight years. Margo had such an air of invincibility after beating Cotto... it was amazing

 

Proof he was on EPO against Margarito?

 

If you knew boxing you'd know that Sugar Shane was on steroids for a long time. Just like everyone else actually..

 

.... I have followed boxing for ten years and have boxed quite a bit myself. I know quite a bit about the sport. Mosleys build was clearly different for the second De La Hoya fight and it affected his movement. In no other fight did he look anything like the robotic slugger he was in that fight. You have absolutely no proof that he was taking steroids at any other time.

 

Mosley avoided detection of steroids, because the newer strains of steroids are hard to detect.
the boxing commissions only conduct old fashioned urine tests, which do NOT catch EPO blood dopers.

Mosley isnt the only one that avoids detection.
Nate Campbell avoided detecion of EPO when he fought Juan Diaz.
Hopkins also avoided detection when he fought Pavlik, Pascal.
Pac also avoids detection, which is why he refuses to be tested OSDT.

Teddy Atlas also implied that Mosley was on PED's for the Margarito fight.

Last night while watching ESPN Friday Night Fights ESPN expert analysis/commentator Teddy Atlas dropped a bomb of sorts. On national television Atlas suggested that perhaps Shane Mosley's poor performance against Floyd Mayweather was due in part to the possibility that he was finally fighting without PED's.

and if you remember the HBO 24/7 Floyd vs. Mosley series, Floyd told his cutman to translate in spanish to Mosley to stop using Steroids.

All you gave me are accusations. Why would Mosley risk his career (again?) after being involved with the FBI.

Show me proof, not accusations and the examiner.

plus the fact that the Margarito vs. Mosley fight was moved from vegas to CA , after Nevada commissioner-Keith Kizer warned Mosley that he would be blood tested for EPO before fighting Margarito, shows that Mosley avoided detection.
Their "excuse" was that the fight was moved cause it was a South Cali showdown, but if that was the case, they would've scheduled the fight in LA, from the beginning, and not after Nevada had told Mosley that he was gonna be tested for EPO.

There's alot of circumstancial evidence that shows that Mosley was "juiced up" with EPO.

many people know that Mosley gave an extraordinary & unusual performance against Margarito, and was not tested for EPO for that fight.

Then Mosley gets tested for EPO before fighting Mayweather, gives a bad and sloppy performance, and all of a sudden, fans are left wondering:
" Why and How did Mosley gass-out early in the Mayweather fight, and not in the Margarito"......"Hmmm. maybe Mosley was on steroids for the Margarito fight, and not the Maywether fight"....."yeah, that's it".

and Mosley was never probed by the FBI, Mosley was under scrutiny by the Federal Court, and Mosley admitted in court that he lied about not taking EPO Steroids, and now he says he did knowingly take EPO Steroids.

besides, the FBI has little or no control over boxing.
Thats why Arum, DelaHoya can stage FIXED FIGHTS like DelaHoya-Pac, Pac-Clottey, Pac-Margarito, Pac-Mosley, etc. and get away with it.

 

I would say Oscar but he was clearly roiding in both fights IMO, so I'll say the Margarito fight,

 

he roided in Margarito fight too.
