    I was only a kid so not sure but the impression I get on here some days is that they weren't rated outside of Britain.

    i'll go through some of my boxing magazines when i get time as they date back about 17 years.

    every year ring magazine does a poll between ten boxing experts and they pick who they think are the ten best p4p boxers.all the points are added up and the magazine compiles an overall top ten.this is done at the end of each year benn or eubank were never in the top ten.nigel benn victim gerald mcclellan was ranked # 8 in 1994. benn defeated him in 1995

    McCellan was top5 in the ring P4P when Benn beat him but they didnt put Benn in for beating him. Biased?

    I don't think either were ever considered the BEST in their weightclasses and certainly never even fought the best. The best opponent either fought was when Benn fought McClellan, but as good as McClellan was, he wasn't the best 168 pounder in the world at that time, Jones Jr. was.

    They had a great thing going for them in England and never needed to come stateside to fight the best.
