What was on Gatti's mind?

Apparently the weight was an issue.

 

That's what I heard at least. I seem to recall Larry insenuating that there was a struggle to lose the last couple pounds that really bothered Gatti. Also, in the build up to, and aftermath of the Gomez bout, they talked about how easily the weight came off with Ward in the camp.

 

i think he was just shot.

 

I want to forget that fight forever, it was embarassing

 

he was having problems with his wife who he refered to as satan's daughter not long after the fight.

 

yea it was supposed to be a bad seperation,also heard it had something to do with buddy mcgirt....if you know what i mean.

 

well i read on a boxing website about a year ago that the real reason behind the split was that buddy&mrs gatti got a little too friendly,now whether or not thats true i dont know because ive heard nothing similar since.:huh

 

only saw her once,she was decent,good call on his new woman:yep

 

Gatti wasn't doing that bad early, he landed some serious bombs but Baldomir was on him all night. I think it was a case of Baldomir proving everyone wrong than the endless list of excuses to downgrade a good win on his record.
