hmmm, tough one. i want to say 130 but he was amazing at lightweight as well. based off of performances i'll say 130 but my favourite performance was 140 against gatti. at that weight he was also damn near unbeatable

Just like against Castillo right?

It's easily 130. Down there, no one could touch him. He humiliated everybody. Just ask G. Hernandez, Vargas, Corrales, C. Hernandez, and Chavez.

Again? I've encountered threads like this before. But just to repeat what I have posted there . . . I believe it's 140 lbs.

i keep coming back to that one myself, at 140 i feel he would have COMPLETELY dominated until today had he stayed there.

True . . . I also believe he can dominate and unify all belts and titles at 140.

From 130-140 he's pretty much untouchable; he would've defeated a prime Tzyu at 140, and beat the best that was offered to him at 130 (including prime, undefeated Chico.)

    140. I feel he was more explosive at 40 than 30

Not like he was at 130...he never had a close fight there, put on masterclass after masterclass, had arguably his best performance there (Corrales), and defended his WBC belt 8 times - 5 times more than he defended his lightweight belt.

Interesting view...he doesn't have a win over a P4P type fighter at 140, but he looked great there. Much better than he has at 147....Hatton would have been beaten down worse there and guys like Bradley, Maidana, Witter, Alexander, Holt, and Khan wouldn't have a shot in hell at beating him.

he was dominant as **** at 130, no doubt and built the best part of his resume there but 140 just seems like he could've had an incredible run
