I'm honestly a tad bit depressed and completely disgusted with Boxing at the current moment. Have avoided the internet mostly since the fight. And all this bull**** going on about Pac's injury, and the over-inflating of Floyd's "dominant" victory, has me just annoyed. But can anybody tell me what they think this "perfect gameplan" was that Roach and Pac came up with? Was it really just to try to catch Floyd with hard counter punches and knock him out??? This has me scratching my head, how could they be so dumb? atsch
i heard roach say before he wants to kep pac threwing less combos to avoid getting hit by floyd. totally ret--ded plan. he should have went straight at floyd like maidana did in their first fight.
make 100 million was the game plan... Now his second move is to make more money by trying to feed people and his fans a rematch.... pac is done..... he is cashing in... I couldn't believe what I saw during the weigh in... he looked way too happy in there... **** pacman the politician
I hope Roach tried to talk Arum and co in to getting this postponed and it was a matter of Arum cashing in and bullying Roach into agreeing. Manny seems to do whatever he is told to do when it comes to the fight game unfortunately. Should have known if he wanted to beat Floyd he had to make the right call and insist on postponing the fight until he healed. People would rage, but if he had a legit shoulder injury releasing the medical findings would have easily bought him time from the public.
he was looking for a one punch ko hence very low punch output. then increased defense and decreased offense, he claimed, due to injured right arm so roach did not pressure him at the corner.
He never had a game plan, just selling the fight. Roach doesn't know how to beat Mayweather. Floyd Sr. had a good game plan.
Can you give Floyd any kind of credit? Bad shoulder or not, Floyd controlled the pace and range of the fight. Manny never once looked "in charge". You can't deny he was outboxed.
:rofl Pac lost dude, get over it. 117-111 Mayweather. Mayweather beat Castillo with a bad shoulder. No excuses.
One thing I did notice, is that Pac wasn't throwing his normal combination....jab, straight left, push jab forward. But I think this was because Floyd's movement was confusing him. Floyd just looked so damn fast in there. I couldn't believe how fast he still is at 38. It's unbelievable. And Pac looked slow, hesitant and confused all night
Castillo actually won clear casto landed 173 mayweather landed 66 casto thrown 377 mayweather thrown 151 so yea mayweather shoulder did kind of had a effect
