It looks like strategy was to 1. throw a lot of punches 2. Be in/out - throw combinations and get out of the pocket, avoid counters. Roach harped on he fact that Floyd never exchanges, he waits for opponent to stop throwing and then counters. 3. Use foot speed and foot work to tire Floyd, get him on the ropes #1 was hindered due to shoulder injury; #2 turned out to be a tad more difficult than they thought and #3 they underestimated Floyd's legs, he moved better than they thought he could I don't think it was a terrible strategy but Pac needed to be 100% healthy. The fact that he threw 430 is pretty bad.
