What was so great about Mosley @ 135

    He looked great against decent but less than stellar competition. Guys saying he changed his style when he move up to welterweight, that's not really true, he just fought guys with similar size (or bigger) and similar talent/skill levels.

    Just take his fight against Shannon Taylor - he looked absolutely devastating, but, once again, against a mediocre opponent.

    I believe it was non other than Vernon Forrest. I don't have a source as I read it somewhere right before their first match.

    First off who cares if he took roids, who the **** hasn't?

    Second, he fought all the top competition at 147 which was light years ahead of anything at 135. Even losing to said top competition (Viper).

    8 defences with decent opposition. He did what he could do at the weight. He was a great fighter to watch back then.
