This is an idea I had. Boxing is an ego sport. It's bravado and ego all the way. We hardly get to hear a fighters innermost thoughts. Post a moment in boxing where a fighter was in the ring and having an honest moment with himself and post what you think he thought. e.g Harrison in the second round vs Haye. "This is going great. if the fight keeps going like this i might land a shot late on like i did vs sprott" Haye in round 11 vs wlad. "im not going to win this fight, im going to use the toe excuse in the interview. il take my shoe off and show them and they will all understand" Degale in round 1 of the groves fight, "****, hes playing mr technical and hes way faster than i thought. this is going to be tough" Lewis in round 1 of the Vitali fight "****, this guy is way more tough and awkward than i thought" Cotto in the 11th vs Margarito "I cant take any more of these shots, hes too big, hits too hard, i cant do this anymore" Clay in the first round vs Liston "oh my god, this is EASY!!! I can do this!! I can make them eat their words!!!"
Lennox Lewis took his fight on 2weeks notice vs Vitaili Kiltschko. Vitali Kiltschko was meant to be fighting on the undercard anyway. I think Lennox Lewis was thinking in the first round, i am not 100% condition. "I'm am just going to use my share physical strength and try and bully Vitali" I never once seen fear or a look of shock in Lennox Lewis's face, for one night only he reverted back to his younger days. Where he was very aggressive inside of the ring, and overly macho.
Also Audley Harrison was surprised that David Haye took the centre of the ring, and decided to stand infront of Harrison. Harrison expect David Haye to be on the move, like he was against all the superheayweight he has faced. Audley Harrison is the only big guy, that David Haye did not move against.
