It is for me a toss up. If you 15 minutes to kill Hagler/Hearns; if you have an hour then Pryor/ArguelloI.

Hagler / Hearns. No feeling out process, just straight at each other all guns blazing.

The round robin fights of Leonard, Hagler, Hearns, and Duran. Amazing era of boxing.

Chacon-Limon IV was more than a fight; it was a celebration of the human spirit. It was that good.

1982 was such a watershed year for boxing.......besides Chacon-Limon IV, you had Pryor-Arguello I, the biggest superfight ever up to then in Holmes-Cooney, the slugfest of Gomez-Pintor, the tragedy of Mancini-Kim........everything happening at once.

    Other great 80's bouts:

    Holyfield-Qawi I
    Saad-Lopez II
    Ramirez-Rosario II
    Chacon-Boza I and II
    Arguello-Mancini
    Holmes-Witherspoon
    Hagler-Mugabi
    Lee-Locicero
    Duran-Barkley
    Sanchez-Gomez
    Sanchez-Nelson

    1- HAGLER HEARNS.

    2- MANCINI- DUK KOO KIM.

    3-HOLY- QUAI-1986 1ST FIGHT..

Im shocked more on here didn't choose Leonard - Hearns-1..

The 70's and 80's were the best decades ever for boxing!!

    15 round fights.
    more fights on free tv..
none of this steriod, and ped bull****.
guys came into the ring wearing plain looking trunks, and the ring was ordinary, now guy's wear all this crap on their shorts, and the ring is pimped out by corporate america pigs, **** grosses me out...
back in the good ol days the main event was at the middle of the day, now it's like at midnight on the east coast, WTF??? **** TAKES FOREVER!! cut all the bull**** just get into the ring and fight...

Guy's now are pussies they pad their records fighting bums, and winos, because they are afraid to lose, back 30-40 years ago the best fought the best!!

Boxing started to go down the shitter after about 1988...

Holyfield's first fight with Qawi and fight with Dokes were two of my favorites of all time. Of course Hagler vs Hearns and Leonard deserve mentioning as well along with Duran vs Leonard, Hearns vs Leonard and Arguello vs Pryor. Holmes vs Cooney's another fight to mention not just because it was good fight but because of the event itself that surrounded the fight.
