One of the Evander Holyfield vs Riddick Bowe fights. I found a copy of it on VHS laying around the house, and I remember feeling scared for the smaller guy because Bowe just looked so much stronger. I think it might have been the first fight.

Terrible, terrible fight. My dad made funny remarks, highlight of the night.

First one I 'vividly remember' is Barry McGuigan vs Eusabio Pedroza - that was the fight which caught my attention in a big way - the atmosphere around that one was like a melting pot - the other one would probably be Bruno vs Bugner - that one was surrounded by hype and a lot of grudge between them

Ahh I thought we were talking about live at the time. In that case, Benn - Eubank

Im not sure if i watched Foreman-ALi live i would have only been 4 so it was probably a replay.

I think the first one i can vividly remember watching was Muhamad Ali-Earnie Shavers i remember watching it at my grandparents house they had bought me a Muhamad Ali doll(i was 7 ) and i remember being glued to the Tv since i had my new toy HAHAHA, Since i can remember my family were fans but this fight stood out as the first i watched without running off to play or losing my attention.

I became a regular fan watching every fight i could about a year later watching Spinks beat Ali and Danny Lopez,Duran,Chacon,Cuevas, a young hot shot name Sugar Ray Leonard etc etc who were big TV attractions at the time.

First one buddy. Definitely remember it, because my dad had all the build up taped on VHS and the fight. It made me a life long fan of both fighters and got me into boxing. Luckily Harrison Williams wasn't my first boxing experience - I doubt I'd be the fan I am today.

It was (of all things) Ali-Dunn in 1976. I was eight. I was over at my grandfather's house, and he had it on TV. This one was on network TV in prime time, so he adjusted the rabbit ears on the TV, sat down with his bowl of candy he shared with me, and we watched it.

He, like many aging white men of the time, despised Ali and would only call him "Clay."

I don't remember much about the fight except grandpa deploring the quality of Ali's opponent.

Maybe Ali - Wepner. A lot of Ali stuff. Ali - Aoki. Replays of all his big fights......Holmes - Norton definitely caught my attention. Foreman - Lyle.
Leonard - Benitez on the same card with Hagler - Antuefermo sealed the deal for me.
