Preem and Valuev fought in the endless sphere of space for world boxing dominance. No one knows who won but one of them was without a doubt cast into the void that some call European Boxing.

The fury-Klitschko fight was a pretty huge fight, between 2 huge fighters, with a huge referee in a verrryyy huge ring.

I once had a boxing match with a pikey in a field. The ropes were the electric fencing and they were 100ft away from eachother.

I believe the correct answer might have been the ring where Roberto Duran defended against Lou Bizzarro in Erie, Pennsylvania, which was Lou’s turf.

The ring was apparently specially constructed for the fight. Don Elbaum claims in the book “Hands of Stone” that it was 30 feet, which is preposterous, but if it’s an inch less than 25 I’d be shocked. They also put no padding, just canvas over plywood.

Bizzarro ran like a thief the entire fight — I don’t mean sticking and moving, I mean he ran like it was a track meet.

Roberto finally wore him down and caught up with him for a brutal KO in 14.

Here’s some stuff about the fight from a post I made some time ago:

I don’t know, but while we’re on the subject I predict Saunders will win.

BJ has nothing on his punches. Canelo has full control, Christ he’s good.

I thought Saunders would be more tricky and elusive, but the gap in class is too much.
