    Deceptively fast, underrated boxing skills, very game, heart of a lion!

    Sadly he didn't have the chin to hold up to a sustained onslaught from the very best.

    Born in this era he remains undefeated if he doesn't hang around as long as he did.

    He was tactically poor inside though. If he fought like SRR leaning on opponents and stepping back to smash uppercuts he wouldn't have crumbled inside so much.

    But instead he went to the body, didn't uppercut and left his chin a tad high.

    Excellent height. Freakish reach, especially when he was at 147 lbs. Great one punch right hand power.

    He was a great boxer. His height and reach caused problems for the smaller welter weights. His chin could not hold up to the big punches of the middleweight fighters of the time.
