woods/johnson and brodie/chi are good shouts, but to say holyfield/lewis was close is,frankly, garbage.i was at the garden to see this live, and lewis won at least-at least-8 rounds, and that's being really generous to holyfield.i believe the yanks were lucky not to see some major crowd disturbance that night, such was the outrage caused by the scoring.shame on larry o'connell scoring that a draw,he must've been pissed.and the bird who scored for holyfield...:-(

doubt if anyone saw,let alone remembers a great scrap in london in the late 80's(?),featuring 'house' fighter keith wallace, getting the nod in a fierce struggle with unheralded marvin stone.all present(on the undercard of a gary jacobs fight as i recall)shook their heads in dismay as wallace, who got battered from pillar to post got the nod to a very dubious decision.sadly, stone never got the rematch he deserved, and his career petered out a year or so later.

Yousef el-Hamidi has been stitched up a few times by all accounts.

Apparently he was very unlucky not to get the win over Murray and at least a draw against Burns (the first time)

Billy will no doubt enlighten us.

    Simone Malodrottu.:deal

At Andytown lesiure centre of all places. Who says the home fighter always gets the rub of the green?

Kelly was well robbed that night.

Slightly off-topic, but as far as individual scorecards go Doug Tucker's 120-108 for Jose Navarro against Cristian Mijares is probably the most ****ed-up I've ever seen (luckily the other two judges saw it the other way).

I still believe to this day that Jimmy Vincent was shafted against David Barnes.
