Vitali had a couple, Briggs fight springs to mind.

 

i guess it depends on the definition of "mauling" I grew up in Alaska and Immediately think of getting mauled by a bear, so not necessarily one punch, but a physical beating where the opponent uses superior strength to keep a fighter trapped regardless of ring smarts and technique... G.Johnson mauled Jones Jr.

That's right it happened on that particular night, that was their first and last fight in their hometown. Vitali was furious. :twisted:

 

That's a good shout. Briggs took a terrible beating that night. Tito also had a few fights like this - his fights against Joppy and Mayorga arguably ruined both guys.

I don't know if it would fit into the category of a "mauling", especially due to the controversial finish but JCC damaged Taylor considerably in their first fight.

When I think of guys who typically mauled their opponents, Duran and Dempsey always spring to mind. They were barbaric.
