What was worse? The headbutts or the cheap shot combo?

Let it all out ****ers. Although the answer is pretty clear to me.

Some people are trying to equate an illegal, completely unprovoked, intentional headbutt (preceded by two more 'screwdriver-type' headbutts) with two legal punches that came as a retaliation. Or even worse, some 'believe' that the headbutting was less severe and sickening than the cheap shots.

    Vote and speak your piece.

They were both at fault. But if you want to compare, FLoyd's actions were cheaper.

Simply put Ortiz threw a headbut out of frustration and paid for it(point deduction)

    FLoyd's ***** shot was premeditated.

I don't get why a cheap shot out of retaliation is 'cheaper' than an unprovoked intentional headbutt. Lets see how much of a sportsman you would be if your opponent tried to bust your mouth with his head 'out of frustration'.

Also, Ortiz doing it 'out of frustration' is neither justifying what he did, nor explaining it. It came out of nowhere and made me think that the kid has some mental issues.

Another thing these dumbasses leave out is that Ortiz threw an ILLEGAL cheap shot after the headbutt while Mayweather was talking to Cortez, in most cases would've led to Another point being taken or even a DQ, Floyd simply retaliated within the rules against a very dirty fighter.

Ortiz because you figure with all the shots he took from Maidana he'd be able to get up from that two-punch combo

    Whatup man.

It's sad to see that loathing a fighter can blind someone's judgment to such a degree.

Headbutt because Ortiz was on his high horse a few days before the fight about how dirty of a fighter Floyd is only to initiate the dirty fighting

Floyd was so angry that he had to retaliate(understandable), but the coward waits till his opponent is totally off-guard!

    You're completely out of context.

Say someone aims at your head with a gun and shoots you, but he misses. Then you manage to grab his gun and punch him in the jaw, then he falls, hits his head badly on the ground and dies.

Why would YOUR actions be 'by far worse' than his?

All logic and common sense would say that the head butt is worse. Society is built on rules. Boxing is no different. We know there is a rule against head butts(Ortiz's was intentional as well). There is no rule that says you can't punch your opponent in the face during a round. That's actually the entire point of a fight.
