What was wrong with Wilder?
He was never good enough in the first place
Protected and manipulated, manoeuvred and kept safe by his paymasters
Its easy to feel brave when your opposition is poor and you know that eventually you will land with big shots despite your lack of skill
I agree with the poster above - from round 4 he looked bewildered and scared. He had no answers and it should have been stopped before. It was a comprehensive beat down
The excuses he has made since show him to be a classless deluded halfwit - he should have taken his beating and admitted the better man won
The excuses being made by his 'fans' are frankly desperate and bizarre and show such people to be obsessive deluded halfwits too
The only reason he is being talked up for fight 3 is either -

1. He is in fact even more deluded than he appears or
2. Its his last payday cash out at last chance saloon - oh and by the way if he spins the roulette wheel and comes up lucky it changes nothing said above as it cannot be denied he at least has power - so he has a 'punchers chance'

Lets not forget he lost both fights - the first was fixed and even in the 2nd the ref did his absolute best to help Wilder - he still lost

Why cant people just accept the better man won on the day???

Wrong Costume

 

Contrary to Wilders belief he has a very low boxing IQ.

Yes he knows how to be dangerous by measuring his right hand behind the jab & got his timing down on that 50 cal sniper rifle counter.
Fury showed the Rifle “vale verga” in a phone booth ... no inside game ZERO.

When Wilder fought a Master boxer who actually studied, adapted & adjusted his game plan he was severely outclassed.
& schooled.

He should shut up, listen & learn.

 

The issue with Wilder? He was always a fraud and always was lucky to get away with it. Fury exposed him as a guy who can't box and can not handle any pressure at all.

 

It was only after the fight that there was something wrong with Wilder. Before that he was fine, showing off his new batman suit with his macho walk.

With Fury 2 the right hand didnt work.

 

Fury was too good. Wilder was beaten up from the third round on.

Wilder looked sharp for the first 20 or 30 seconds.

I think a lot of it had to do with Fury getting to him mentally. He hit Fury with his best punches and Fury got up and kept coming at him, and outboxed him for damn near the entire fight. In the second fight, Wilder knew he was going to have it tough from the gate, then, when Fury came right at him and was actually sitting down on his shots, he realized Fury could actually hurt him. Look at all the fights when Wilder has been hurt, he looks like he's gassed after getting hurt (First Ortiz fight, Molina).
