Zab didn't show up that night AT ALL!

Did he have bad tactics ? was it a bad training camp ? or was Khan just too good that night ?

Seems even more weird when you see the good performances that Judah has had since.

I remember Freddie saying he was gonna pick Zab to face Manny but thought Khan could unify his then belts. He followed Freddie's gameplan to the T that night and looked impressive. I really think hiring Ariza for that fight made the BIG difference. His previous fight was mehh... he didn't have confidence in his power with McClownskey... heck w/o Ariza, Khan is getting dropped and wobbled.

judah, in an effort to get a point deduction, acted like the low blow was worse than it really was...so he cost himself that fight. he also had a shitty game plan to sit back and counter. he should have been throwing with khan. that's how you get him out of there. he's so wide open in exchanges.

as for khan looking better with ariza....i wonder what that was about?

I also think that Zab was to defensive in that fight. He had just started working with Whitaker, and Pernell was trying to make him into a defensive oriented fighter. That's fine and all but Zab was really holding back in that fight and not throwing the counters he is known for.
