I called and expected KO's (though i did'nt expect them that early) from pavlik-lockett and juan ma-de leon no suprise there. Both were still good performances though. Vernon-mora was a suprise, but not a good one imo. I wanted forrest to win and KO mora, who i cant stand, but did'nt happen. I was'nt happy with what happened, but to mora's credit he fought well and made vernon gas even faster with his pace. highlight of the weekend was quintana williams for me. i expected quintana to win a close UD, somewhat like the first fight these guys had. What happened? Williams just blitzed him in the first round, overwhelmed him with long hard shots and took away his spirit enroute to a TKO. He showed nice power by sitting down on his shots (which he did'nt do in previous fights), and that jab was like a laser. One or two more performances like this against anyone in the top 10, and williams is a serious player in the division imo.
