    Johnson won big but Roy had just been KTFO so it didn't really blow me away. I don't wanna take anything away from Douglas.

    Good post. Those were true will over skill fights. Bark was a true middle and Hearns wasn't, but Hearns did have more skill than Bark probably ever watched.

    I think Leonard wanted to win the fight will to will,but it ended up being skill to skill and he got schooled. :good

    Also, Margarito-Cotto was size over skill.

    Wow no one has mentioned one Corrales fight

    despite the obvious, Castillo I fight

    Chico/Freitas is one of my favorites

    Corrales-Castillo 1 is NOT a good example of will over skill.

    It was an example of one guy with a lot of will and in-fighting skill beating another guy with a lot of will and in-fighting skill.

    You won't find that many fights in recent years in which both guys displayed as much skill on the inside as Corrales and Castillo did in that fight.
