I liked the Cummings fight and his game performance against Tim Witherspoon. I remember the Witherspoon fight, and I had Frank ahead for the first few rounds, but the terrible one was just too much for Frank in the end.
First Tyson fight where he gave it a go and had him wobbling Second Tyson fight was an embarrassment in comparison I've met him a few times and spent a few hours in his company and he has always been superb
Mine has to be the Lewis fight, everyone including Lewis felt Frank wouldn't even be competitive, so it was great seeing him shutting Lennox up the first half of the fight. Its a shame about the end but in typical form he gave it his best and actually gave Lewis problems. Tyson 2 was the worse, but you have to say that first round was a war.
I went there and plenty thought The Bomber would win, and even though I favoured Lewis, like most of the Lewis fancy, we knew it would be competitive early. And it was 'classic' Bruno; competitive early, but the nervous tension got to him. But myself and everyone around me watching was not particularly nervous that Lewis was not going to win at anytime during the fight. Bruno does deserve some kudos for his effort, but the spin that Lewis was in big danger during the fight is not true. At best it could be argued Lewis was a bit flat, like he was in all the fights after Ruddock, which culminated in the McCall disaster.
Jumbo Cummings for pure entertainment. It was as if Jumbo had hit Frank on the head with a mallet, completely gone on his feet. The referee virtually held him up. To be fair, he showed a lot of heart and stones to come back and win.
