Really ? :huh I thought fight 3 was clearly the dullest of the series, so much so it almost looks out of place to be honest.
1st, 2nd, or 4th. I didn't find the third to compare itself to the others but even with that it's such a great fight. Out of the three fights I chose I don't know if between the 2nd or the 4th. The second they were arguably in peaks, it was tense as hell, and like the first one, I hate it as everytime I rewatch it I score it differently. They are so matched evenly in the fight it's amazing. The fourth fight for definetly being a classic, but ending soemwhat prematurly, not saying the KO was bad, I just wanted it last a bit longer; then again, didn't we all? But it's definetly a great one, Marquez finally knocks Pacquiao and Pacquiao gets back up, for a few rounds it's Manny the one finally technichally beating Marquez, even sending him to the canvas. But Pacman never did escape the right hand. 4th fight takes it. 2nd fight comes up close, though arguably not as good as the other, enjoyed it personally. Great rivalry. Best of the era, and the one of the best of all the eras.
I have to admit I was one of them. Didn't think a fourth fight would add much.. Pac hadn't scored a decent KD in years and JMM nearly 40 years old. Thought it'd be the 4th fight all over again, with Pac again getting the decision. Boy was I wrong. I voted for the 4th fight, in terms of ebb-and-flow action and the drama. It's still fresh though, many years from now the 2nd fight will probably be the best. They were extremely sharp and fast then. Those right hands JMM landed in the 8th were beautiful. Not to mention those uppercuts.
I troll Mexicans a lot on this forum, but honestly it was probably fight 3 because of the combination of the support of the Mexican crowd and JMM fighting an amazing fight and outpointing Pac. Up until the decision was read, I thought it was amazing how a crowd and a fan base could almost carry a fighter to perform at a higher level than he otherwise would have fought at. It was an amazing fight imo. The judges ruined that **** though.
Despite being a Pac fan, I thought four was the best fight they've had. And that goes for both of them.
