I'll answer on Scurs behalf - "the first through to the last" :)

I like the fighters who still have that Pride mentality. They believe a fight is based on coming to fight and causing damage - think Overeem, Diaz etc Even BJ for a UFC fighter seems to have that make the fight and hurt them mentality.

The Final Conflict cards from 2003, 2005 and 2006 are hard to beat, massive fights AND amazing action.

There were a lot of great cards - but they weren't all spectacular. Too many of them were stacked with Japanese Gumby fighters that went in to not lose their fights and went to many a boring decision. Avoid any card stacked with guys named Oyama, Ohara or Shoji. There was another thread about this just recently with a ton of great responses. Somebody should bump it up for you.

No one said they were all spectacular but PRIDE was almost always guaranteed entertainment. The rules ensured this. As well as the depth of talent that was prevalent in the early MMA days when dudes were just stupidly tough. Additionally PRIDE cards were generally always stacked. Cards with a few random Japanese fighters were few and far between. Take for instance the PRIDE Elimination 2003 GP:

    Fedor Emelianenko Gary Goodridge
    Chuck Liddell Alistair Overeem
    Quinton Jackson Murilo Bustamante
    Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira Ricco Rodriguez
    Mirko Filipovic Igor Vovchanchyn
    Hidehiko Yoshida Kiyoshi Tamura
    Wanderlei Silva Kazushi Sakuraba

Fine me ONE UFC card that comes close to that kind of depth. Every one of those guys was in their prime or close to prime.
