I remember Wlad vs. Sanders, it was also my first boxing match that I watched with interest, my late grandfather commented on Sanders' thin legs and that he would be dangerous and beat Wlad, and I said that Sanders had no chance, in the end my grandfather guessed the outcome , since then I've been watching boxing...

Probably Pac-Barrera I. Pac was starting to make some noise and a friend had it on the TV.

Actually, Tyson-McNeely was probably the first.

Leonard-Hearns I was the first fight I remember really getting intensely into. Although my earliest memories of boxing go back to fights like the "Rumble in the Jungle, " I wasn't really hardcore until the Leonard-Hearns fight, which I watched at a frat house in Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts. Good times!!

In terms of live fights it’d be Oskee - Quartey…I was crapping my pants the entire time.

I have a jillion old fight tapes from the ol’ Gpa, and the first one I watched seriously was Louis vs Schmeling II when Louis kicked his ass.

As said or posted for the many times. The Muhammad Ali vs Floyd Patterson title bout on Nov 22 1965 with my Dad and Uncle. We saw it live on Closed Circuit Television at the local High School. Ali looked fabulous, I became a fan of the sport and Ali.

i don't remember the fighters names, but watching boxing on ABC's wide world of sports was awesome. the spectacle of it all, the violence, it was all spellbinding to a young kid.

but to be fair, boxing took a back seat when linda carter was on battle of the network stars.

I remember being drawn into boxing as a very young kid with all the talk from Ali about the Rumble in the Jungle!!!!

It was all over the news when I was maybe 6 or 7. I did not get to see the fight, we had little money, but from that point on I was hooked.

Howard And Ali really had this fight hyped for weeks on end on the news.

The first one I ever remember watching live was Tyron Zeuge Paul Smith. The first one I remember watching “intently” was Haye Bellew I.

Thrilla in Manila (not live). Seeing Joe Frazier's heart in the ring was incredible.
Gave me a new found respect for boxing which I didn't have before.

Larry Holmes Vs. Michael Spinks 1. I knew the data, which was published. That Larry Ḫolmes has a chance to tie Rocky Marciano's score. Boxing history was made that night.
