Mine was for kessler 115-113. I thought Kess won most of the middle rounds and outworked froch on the close rds. Froch won the last 2 rounds on my card to make it close. I thought Froch boxed well early and then let off the gas in the middle rounds and gave those away. You could see him dropping his hands and his punch output went down. He seemed to get a late wind, but by that point he was deep in the hole after rds 6-10. Valiant effort by both guys but also a lot of really sloppy rounds. kessler's jab wasnt as good as it used to be and froch jabbed well early. I dont know why kessler was swinging so wildly late, very poor form. More of a slugfest match and exciting to watch but void of real technical skill.
The same as yours 115-113 Kessler, i have no problem with Kessler winning but i have serious issues with the 117-111 scorecard.
I have no problem with a draw. There were some very close rds. The 1st rd was close and also the 9th on my card. You could feel the momentum swings through the fight. Froch showed surprisingly good form early, but went back to his low hands/poor defense after a few rds. it cost him.
some judges put most of their scoring emphasis on the fighters aggression ... in which case I can understand a 117-111 , since Kessler was the aggressor the majority of the fight. but I disagree with that type of scoring .. I scored it a draw , gonna rewatch for a third time and give a round by round back up for scoring
off the top of my head (froch left kessler right) 10-9 9-10 10-10 (if pushed Kessler) 9-10 10-9 9-10 9-10 9-10 10-10 (if pushed Froch) 10-9 10-9 10-9
