what was your reaction when froch destroyed bute?

my reaction was bute is a muppet. speaking of which...

 

Was very Excited, I jumped for joy and screamed loud, won 200 quid and was also happy for Froch who i am a big fan of.

 

Farmboxer was wrong as always.

 

I was there, amazing night.

 

I was a bit shocked Froch made such easy work of it.

 

its a message - a message to know the pumped up paper champs from the real deal

 

1. Worried Froch would get outboxed initially, but interested to see the Lightning Battleship Lucian in action too.

2. Delighted by Frochs smile when Bute tried to return fire and his punches to Carls face had no effect.

3. impressed by butes good manners, he came across as a top bloke in defeat.

4. Dawned on my why Calzaghe had run away ffrom Froch for old roy jones and retirement.

 

I wasn't that surprised on the night actually. After the opening round I didn't think Bute looked up for the fight, that he wasn't fully committed to it, which seems strange considering this was his chance to prove himself. Now, either I read it wrong and Froch was in a different league to Bute or Bute was overwhelmed by the event, but it was a very good win for Froch either way.

 

You just cant resist taking a shot at Calzaghe can you?

 

even though i gave Bute the edge going in, i wasn't too surprised when Carl beat him down and took him out because i knew Carl would have done that to Bute if he was a year or two younger.

my only problem was how much fight Carl had at that point considering he'd just lost his last fight against Ward. that's the only reason Bute was the favorite for me.
as we found out though, Carl had plenty left to offer.
