Well the thalidomide kid was swinging at air and grunting all night long that doesn't win rounds unless your watching women's tennis Loma won in a shut out, the thalidomide kid won at most 2 rounds
It is a must system. Ie you must give the round to only one of the fighters. I gave GRJ 3 rounds at the most. There were rounds you could argue were 10-8 even without a kd.
The best I could give Russell was one round, but I really think Lomachenko won by shutout, esp. if you look at the punch stats................
I'm pretty sure I had it 116-112 (and don't think 115-113 was that much of a stretch either). But I'll say this, there was two or three rounds that were hard to score because Lomachenko was really inactive. In those rounds, Russell was pushing the action, but hardly landing. Lomachenko would land when he threw, but was hardly throwing. Lomachenko looked great when he was letting his hands go and his defense was on point, but those lulls of inactivity can really come back to bite him in the future once he's fighting someone with a high punch output. When Lomachenko was letting his hands go, the fight wasn't really all that competitive, and if he could have maintained a steady punch output, I could have seen him shutting Russell out.
....or knocking him out. I agree 100%. I also had it 116-112, but felt I was being a tad generous to Russell.
