was it from the Floyd release and did you just assume 154? Im asking that to say if you heard from the jump yesterday that it was at 152, would you have been as sour about it as you were when you thought it was 154 and then found out it was 152? I dont think most would have. I think Floyd or whoever, shouldve made that clear in the 1st statement. If they had then I think the backlash would be cut in half. Even now I think it will drop alot. I think it will be the 3 phases. Excitment, then dissapointment/mad, and when you come down from that you will be pumped for the fight again. I think it was just more of the fact that you initally thought it was 154 so it left a bad taste but you will eventually go back to feeling like you did when you 1st heard it was made. All in all I think its fine. As I said, 22 pounds is a huge difference. Canelo is still young enough where it shouldnt be as hard to lose it. I remember Floyd back in the day saying he would come to 128 to fight Naz. I think cw's can be overrated. I think we get a kick out of the cw king thing but in reality, most of the times people only remember did you win or lose and you will get the benefit of doubt. I think either Floyd dominates so much that everyone will say the 2 pounds wouldnt have mattered anyways or he will win a super close fight in which everyone will wanna see a rematch at 154 which would be more big money so it should all workout.
