    QUOTES: (scene)
Gomez (6 SEP): "The offer is going to be more than that ($2M)"
Oscar (7 SEP): "We are not willing to negotiate based on percentages...That offer will be presented when Canelo is ready to invade the 160lb division"
Oscar (17 SEP): "30 days ago...Eight figures...Two, three, or even four times as much as he's ever made"
Gomez (17 SEP): "A significant offer with upside"

    Weight:
"The weight is not an issue--160lb." --Loeffler 18 SEP
Purse: Purse for the Brook fight was 5M, meaning this offer is for 10M-20M.
PPV: Unclear. Gomez says there is upside, Oscar says no.
Date: From Oscar and Loeffler's comments, GBP is set on 16 SEP 2017 and K2 is open to ASAP.
Location: From Oscar's comments, it's going to be AT&T Stadium if Jerry can show him the money. From Gomez comments, they're shooting for SEP to maximize the Mexican gate, meaning it'll be in Texas or Socal.
Conditions: From Oscar's comments, each guy does 2 interim fights

    ANALYSIS
Something doesn't add up. We have quotes from GBP saying they intend to make an offer, then later quotes saying the offer was made weeks before the other quotes happened. We have Gomez saying the offer had upside and Oscar saying hell no to that. We have Oscar giving a range that is too fuzzy to make sense: 8-figures and 2, 3, or 4 times what he's made. Which is it? GGG hasn't made PPV points and his purses are all available: 5M for the Brook fight and 2M is the highest aside from that. So it must be at least 10M, which means Oscar is referring to the Brook purse since 4x2M isn't eight figures. But if he's referring to the Brook purse and not offering upside, how is the offer 2, 3, or 4 times higher? He clearly knows how much higher it is. It's either 10M, 15M, or 20M.

    CONCLUSION
Cocaine is a hell of a drug.

They will try to capitalize as much as possible on the mexican fan base. So they want to bigger slice cuz they bring the most fans. It has nothing to do with boxing, just business. Ok, but how big the slice ? 90-10 isnt that good.

Nobody can compete with the mexicans in this kind of "business battle".

This is the same argument that was made from the 2010-2015 money grab. Fans start saying who lied ,who told the truth, when the truth is that we don't know ****.

GGG has built his hype enough to deserve a fair cut. Canelo has no other opponents at 147,154, or 160 that can get him paid like this.

Oscar offering GGG a low-ball flat amount, take it or leave it or you're ducking!

Does this tactic sound familiar to anyone?

Exactly, Canelo and GB have him by the balls right now.
It s the same in any latino vs non-latino matchup.
Only fights where he can make a phat paycheck but still nothing like a GGG vs Canelo, are the UK fights.

Saunders, Eubank jr and hopefully Degale

But in the US, the Jacobs fight is as good as it gets.

After the Jacobs fight, GGG should go gunz blazing after BJS. That WBO trinket could mean some leverage or at least some insurance that the Canelo paycheck will be coming.
If I were GGG I would do anything to get BJS in the ring asap, that mofo gipsy lucky sob.
I have no doubt that GB will offer something good to BJS, but maybe a GGG fight in UK can be even more lucrative for Saunders.
Canelo is not leaving the US

No, he's not ready for Ggg and has yet to clean up 154.
He needs to get revenge on Lara who is currently no 1 at 154 or take on julien Williams after hd beats charlo.

That's what it would seem but Loeffler never denied this neither has anyone from GGG side and we know how quick they are to deny stuff.

It's only low-ball to idiots. GGG's biggest win(and test for that matter) is a blown-up Welterweight. He's asking for a bigger payday based on hype and nothing else. Alvarez earned his spot and took risks to get where he's at.

He barely earned it with inconclusive victories and no rematches. Canelo has had extraordinary chances because he is with GBP - if he wasn't he would have had a far harder time of it and a number of losses along the way.

Canelo sure sat on his arse and vacated fast when a threat eventuated - no hype there.
