Some fighters are known for their dominance in one specific weight class, but there are others who carry their weight up and down with similar effectiveness. With that said, what weight class do you associate with the following fighters:

    Sam Langford
    Henry Armstrong
    Tony Canzoneri
    Barney Ross
    Alexis Arguello
    Julio Cesar Chavez
    Manny Pacquiao

Sam Langford- LHW, was supposed to have been his best weight

Henry Armstrong- LW, although he fought and accomplished more as a WW, he was more natural at LW, and just seems to matchup better over history at the lower weights

Tony Canzoneri- Probably LW as well

Barney Ross- See above, either LW or 140

Alexis Arguello- 130 was his best weight

Julio Cesar Chavez- 135 was his best, but he didn't fight there long, so 140

Manny Pacquiao- Probably his current class to be honest, that or FW.

Im not gunna do this as 'what their best fighting weight was', more of an accomplishment at the weight thing.

Sam Langford - not sure, but i think LHW
Henry Armstrong- WW, not his natural weight imo, but the record speaks for itself.
Tony Canzoneri- maybe LW, but i always thought 140 was his best.
Barney Ross- not a big WW, but one of the best imo
    Alexis Arguello- 130
Julio Cesar Chavez- 135 was where i think we saw his very best, but greatness- 140 and 130
Manny Pacquiao- his best was 122 imo, but he has proved immense everywhere
