I'm about 172 right now, but if I was training to box I would try to get to middleweight, would prob be too short to fight at anything higher.
Yea, I started with jump rope a bit late. I always just lifted traditional free weights and did forms (martial arts), a little running (I can't stand it) for cardiovascular endurance. But thanks for the advice. I'll continue to work on it.
Im 6'0 My walking around wieght is 168. i train for 158 its easy to handle So i can make 154 or 160 easy. on the poll i put middle wieght. GREAT THREAD!
Just under 6 foot, and 155 lbs, but you bet I'd cut weight to about 140. Used to Box at 135, could only make that if I chopped my leg off now.
You don't look much smaller than me when I was training 2 hrs of BJJ daily and pretty slender, and I couldn't get down to 168. I'm about 1 inche taller if that. You're far more waspy waisted though, I was 32" back then. Now I'm a fatass 205. This content is protected 5' 9 170 there and I'll probably never look like that again.
I was able to make 154 back in 05 but I walk around about 185 with 7% body fat. I could like make SMW in about about 2 weeks I guess.
6.3 walk around at 176 with moderate training 2-3 times a week light running as well. Should be able to get down to 168 though. Why no SMW option?
