What weight is Crolla Morales going to be?

140lbs. I like Crolla but think its a mistake taking the fight.

 

138 isn't it Rob?

 

One article claimed that Crolla said it was at 138, others have said 140.

 

if it says 138 do you really think Morales comes in there?? will just give Crolla a few more quid.

I am sure the fight could have been made at 140 if Morales had insisted.

He'll earn a good payday and maybe pull an upset over an old fighter. He doesn't have much to lose.

Think crolla has a chance, been in good form albeit not against morales class but we all know erik isnt what he used to be. Good match up imo

 

How can his trainer justify fighting Erik Morales at 138/140 when he stated that Willie Limond was too big for him. The fight with Willie was going to be at the lightweight limit wasn't it.

 

9 st 12 might go down to 9st 9 if a title is put forward.

Yep wouldn't be suprised if another Mexican gets an undeserved title fight.

 

I like Crolla but no way does he deserve a title shot. They would be basically giving the title to Morales so he can get the record, it would be worse than Alvarez/Hatton. Morales doesn't really deserve a shot either but at least he pushed Maidana all the way, Crolla's beaten Andy Morris and John Watson FFS.
