i think his gall bladder surgery may have had something to do with this. he didnt have a problem making weight against maidana and cano.

147 is not an option for morales.

he really doesnt look good at 140.

In intermediate future he is going to kick some PR ass with straight rights. What his behavior comes to show is that even he realize that eventual 4th title in as many weight classes means ****.

 

I don't give two ****s about his beer problem or his age, the man has given us some of the finest boxing matches of the last ten or so years, and in the Maidana fight that **** played straight out of his skin. As for him not fighting at a level that would help his legacy, he's fighting at a high level tonight. Most of Mexico will be watching, and a lot of the US too. I'm in the UK, I'll be watching.

Also, if you were in a bar and it all kicked off you'd want Morales to fight your corner.

Erik's comeback has been a joy to watch but this tells me it's time to call it a night.Not even sure I want him to fight Juan now.

The bigger the threat the better the performance from Morales going by history... I`m hoping he sees Garcia as a real danger, I`m also hoping Garcia`s dads homo actions at the weigh in annoyed Morales a bit too, every little helps in these fights as far as motivation goes.
