What Weight Should Mayweather Vs Pacquiao Be At?

    i'd like the fight to be at 147 but i'd still be happy at any weight as long as the fight is made and as long as floyd agrees on that weight.

    Enough of this catch-weight crap. Man-up and meet at 147 or don't take the fight at all.

    147. Shouldn't even be a discussion. Floyd is a WW, Pac if he wasn't such a gimp about weights would have fought cotto at 147 and still beaten him.

    Catchweights can GTFO of here.

    Roach will try to have it written into the contract that Floyd serve a year of hard labor in the Philippines for every ounce he comes in over 145.

    Exactly. If they literally removed any weight limit, you're still gonna see both guys coming in 142-147lbs. They both know it's their optimal weight, they both know they would gain NOTHING by weighing in heavier. Make this a Heavyweight limit fight and we're gonna see the same thing as making it a Welterweight limit fight. Makes no difference.

    Just don't butcher the event by arguing over 145lbs vs. 146lbs/147lbs.
