    I think

Marquez: 140lbs (weigh in) 147 (day of fight)

Mayweather 144lbs(Weigh in) 150 (day of fight)

Weigh-in the same weight they will fight at probably. Maybe a pound or 2 more.

    Marquez weigh-in-145 Fight night-147

    Floyd-145 weigh-in Fight night-147

It's at 147 now supposedly. Mayweather must have sweetened Marquez's
    purse for the concession.
Although Marquez would probably fight a moose with no weight restriction.

damm...the intrigue has gone out of the fight if it is at 147...

it made it interesting at 144.

Mayweather 2 years out having to make weight.....

Marquez' 1st fight also at the weight.

One thing...it wont be a gatti Mayweather...Marquez is one of the proudest champions from any era...for me hes the Mexican Holyfield...hell rise to the challenge

Marquez is trying to put on weight.. but I don't think he'll want to cut anything.

He'll probably weigh-in at 144-45... and stay like that.

No way he's putting on more than 5lbs of lean mass in such a short space of time (especially given his frame & size!).

Mayweather normally weighs the same at weigh in as fight night. One of the few fighters who do. But I think to make the lower weight he'll do what other boxers do and drain himself. This means he'll be at his usually weight come fight night.

Marquez you're in deep trouble mate.

144 was a massive advantage for Floyd anyway. At least at 147, if JMM would win, there could be no excuses from Money.

    Floyd 147 -- 150
    JMM 145 -- 147

I don't see floyd coming in under the WW limit, otherwise they would have just stayed with a catch-weight.

I would say that's about right. :good

Although I wonder if JMM tries to add weight and if Floyd has bulked.

Marquez said he is already adding muscle for the fight. Floyd said he's already been training for months.

Stupid move on Marquez part imo.

Floyd has always trained. He's a gym rat.

Just a matter of if he bulked up a bit with the time off.

Floyd has stayed in shape the whole time yes. He's been actually training specifically for a fight for a few months. I don't see why JMM adding some muscle is stupid. Muscle can be added without losing speed. It's been done with boxers before. It's not like he won't put the weight on properly. He's not an idiot.
