People keep saying JMM put on too much muscle and will come in too heavy yet he says he will be no more than 143 to retain his speed. Do you think that is the case or is this a mind game so Pac comes in light then JMM comes in heavy and try to muscle him around more? I had thoughts about this the other day. JMM will never be faster than Pac but he can be heavier than him. In the 3rd fight JMM outweighed Pac by a few pounds I believe and Pac was not too thrilled to be trading with JMM like he had been before. I am going to guess JMM comes in at 146 to use the weight to his advantage. Pac will come in at 142-143 to use speed. This could be a mistake in JMMs part though if he was not able to maintain his speed.
I guess 146 is too much for JMM b'cause his body's structure would carry too much weight to get loose fast and sharply. 144 I would say for JMM and no more than 145 Pacquiao.
should be the other way around. pac should be heavier with retained speed if he wants to ko jmm. jmm should be lighter with more speed to counter pac's assault and catch pac off-balance for flash kd.
I made a post earlier today on this exact topic I guessed Manny @143lbs. Expect Manny to come in no heavier than 145 tho. So anywhere from 143-145.
Marquez said himself that he will come in at 142-143 too keep his speed. he also said that the reason why this fight was at full welterweight(146)pounds is because team paquiao hoped he would come in at the 146 limit to be slowed down, so marquez said he was gonna come in light
that is what happened last fight I believe. This fight I am just wondering whether JMM is playing mind games and taking a different approach to it
They are in pain right now, no doubt. Weigh-in usualy go down about 3:00PM For these big fights to sync up with The networks.
The way some clowns here have been going on about how HUGE Marquez looks, im surprised they're not saying he wont even make 147!
Isn't the fight at 147? So why shouldn't both weigh in at 145-147 I would be surprised if the weigh less than 145 (especially JMM)
right and if that was the case why would he divulge that information to Pacs team? Maybe Pacs team was banking on that and have redirected their strategy after hearing that. All I am saying is it would not be a bad idea if he has been able to retain his speed and come in heavier. Obviously this is not the norm as most fighters lose speed as they go up in weight but JMM now has a S&C coach so maybe they figured it out. Imagine a JMM who can be heavier and still keep his speed. It would only be bad for Pac.
