What weights would you be happy to see GGG v Canelo/ Cotto winner between 160-155?

    I know it's a mandatory and the winner of Cotto & Canelo cannot demand a catchweight or will have to forefit their title, and the same time, due to their star status I think GGG would much rather fight them for the belts.

    So would you be only happy at 160?

    Do you think the catchweight can turn it into a competitive fight, and if so at what weight?

    Or are you a Ward/ Mayweather fanboy who is petrified of Golovkin and don't want to see it at all?

    GGG should offer no lower than 158. I think he can take off the 2 extra pounds without a problem. He really isn't a large middleweight.

    To be honest, I think GGG wins even at 155, so I'd be quite happy to see him drop to 155, which I believe he can make (and probably easier than Canelo), plus he'd then get more credit and didn't just beat up a 'blown up Jr Middleweight'.

    I would frown at 158, 159, but I'd accept it. GGG can make either fine, but it's more about the principle.

    Its for the lineal title so it HAS to be at 160 or under to be legitimate.

    I'd prefer 160 but I really do think Golovkin should accept any catchweight offered just to make it happen.

    He did say he would go down to 154 sp I reckon he can healthily train to 155 for a one off. Once he has all the marbles he then calls the shots.

    Well if it has to be under to be at 160 to be legitimate then Martinez is still the middleweight champion :patsch

    But is winning it at 155, 156, 157, 158 or 159 not more valuable than winning it via Cotto or Canelo foreftting it?

    If GGG wants to raise his profile and become a big PPV star, Cotto/Canelo are the only superstars currently within a weight of him.

    Which is why I would accept a 158/159 CW. I'll be sad and frustrated, but I know Canelo is the door that'll make GGG a crossover star. So, the cost of losing a couple pounds and doing the catchweight is better for his career/s****om than getting the WBC title but not fighting Canelo at all.

    Anything 156 or above is cool by me, GGG says he can make 154 and bigger MW fights like Hopkins-Hoya was at the same weight. Why not.
