What went wrong for Audley Harrison as a pro?

    I dont really think he was in a difficult era, he should have been challenging just after lewis retired, and during the period the belts were being passed around some fairly weak champs,
    Roy jones, Lamon brewster, Hasim Rahman, valuev, liakhovich

    He could have given these a decent challenge, however he was still fighting bums when he should have been progressing quicker

    this is all true but they won gold medals and what im hinting at is a Gold Medal doesnt mean everything as a pro

    I mean Leon Spinks won a Gold Medal and didnt Rademacher but Rademacher is a funny case because he got hurried in as a pro

    What im getting at is not all great am stars transition I know we Americans like to point out failed guys like Audley

    but Americas best am heavies have not transitioned like Brock and Williamson, and Estrada and Guinn and others

    we are just as guilty

    your right he had that transitional era between Lewis and Wlad but the door shut quick when Wlad came in to the big picture even if Audley got a title he probably would not have been around long

    It really was apparent he was scared to get hit, and then he wouldn't throw back. Weird.
