I've watch a lot of Juan Diaz through the years, as he's been on TV a lot. His MO is to pressure, outpunch, and wear you down. It's worked against a lot of guys he's faced.. it's how he beat Irwin, Frietas, Diaz, Suico, etc.. he just applies the pressure until the other guy breaks down.

He's a lot like Margarito in that aspect.. and Diaz lost the same way almost that Margarito lost to Mosley.. he was in the ring with a guy who didn't break down, but a guy who got stronger no matter what was happening.

There were moments in the fight where you thought Marquez couldn't sustain.. and it was a war of attrition.. but the Baby Bull lost that war. Everytime he gave more, Marquez could answer.. so take nothing away from Juan, he would have beat a lot of guys last night.. and it takes a special fighter to get in the ring and stand up to what Juan is going to bring.

Marquez took a beating in that fight as well, he just wasn't going to break down no matter what.

JMM being an elite fighter. Youth and workrate does not always work against Fighters like JMM.

In fairness, Diaz did give JMM a hard time in the early rounds. Those bodyshots did a lot of damage to baby bull.
