They took a risk with him... It didn't pay off. This is what should happen in boxing. Instead most prospects are coddled for years. Yesterday was a damn good day for boxing.

Can't fault the desire for greatness.

Fans can't want the best fights all the time and then get mad or say something negative about the people who try to reach greatness.

Shout out to Kazuto Ioka! What were his handlers thinking?! Multi-weight titlist and in the top 5 rankings for the next decade, probably.

Wow. You guys are being really petty with this.

I see people in here who SCREAMED for years about Floyd Mayweather not ever taking any risks in boxing, yet some undefeated guy took a risk and you make fun of him and treat him like CRAP. Can't win with some people.

Wilder's looking into his future. Same thing will happen to him as happened to Lubin when he steps up.

Disappointing for sure, but he looked good in the early moments before he got caught. Sounded levelheaded in the interview as well, he will be back

It was just timed perfectly and the fight was still early.

Early is the most dangerous as your nervous system isn't adjust to getting hit.

Nothing wrong with what happened. More respect to lubin than a chump like Wilder. Hopefully we get more step up fights and not protected babies.

This is hilarious a man who has never taken a genuine step up to the top table talking like this. Go home Deontay you're being a fool. Again.

Pbf took plenty of risks he moved up from 130-154 You can't do that without taking a risk.:deal: wtf are you talking about? Also these so called risks become easy fights that he never gets credit for. Funny how that works.

I give Floyd credit for being very good, but he never took a risk of this magnitude. He didn't do anything nearly this risky. You seem to have a way of remembering history MUCH differently than how it actually happened. Might wanna see if you have Conflabulation.
