Classic quote!!!:rofl I must admit I'm glad I cancelled now. Hope everyone enjoyed Dusselldorf though
Haven't the krauts got a home-grown hero? They're all bloody foreign.....Wlad, Vitali, Abraham, Hitler..
It's a shame Haye ducked out of the fight. Vlad would have had a very impressive knockout. Easy fight for Vlad, but it appears that Vitali might go ahead and knock Haye out in Sept., somewhat like Vitali Vs. Herbie Hide.
:good During the last world cup I was in a bar stacked with Germans watching the Germany - Poland game...they got the real hump when I pointed out that bizarrely the best two players the Germans had were both Polish (Klose, Podolski).....miserable ****s.
the germans are the worst fans ever, def dont have a sense of humour, i was sat germans all around me except for hatton a couple of rows behind, it was great halfway through the fight when a few people started shouting "...theres only one Ricky Hatton", all the build up to the fight was dead embarassing, plus not one of them recognised who Hatton was, just shows what boxing fans they are. Most of them were just schalke fans singing that **** HO HO HO song, Germans def dont show any emotion, they just gently clap after each jab lands. I'm honestly amazed how the germans love him, he's not one of their own, fights so negative at times, Plus although the stadium was amazing, what was with all that **** putting euros onto credit cards, what a ****ing farce, ive still got 10 euros on it now, one positive though was programs were only 5 quid, not 20 like over here.
Ze Germans (0-2) are tending to be sourkraut face to ze English due to ze war, and alzo on ze holiday ze English are ze only peoples who take off our towels from our sunloungers and zhey throw them in ze schwimming pool.
**** me, a record...28 posts into a thread before someone started with the racial stereotypes...on this occasion though, totally justified :good:yep
I thought the Germans were alright. Was drinking with a group of boys from Stuttgart in Dusseldorf and got along with them great. Plus I surprised how much they admired English football.
