If Calzaghe is contracted to Showtime and Jones contracted to HBO then there's no way it could be made until those contracts got renewed.

I don't think I'd have Tate there as empatic as it was.

Del Valle was robbed against Virgil Hill and was undefeated otherwise.

Malinga was a future champion, Gonzalez the linear champ who dethroned Dariusz and has a controversial win over Glen Johnson, Woods was a future champ who would beat Gonzalez and Glen Johnson, Grant was a MW champ, Merqui Sosa had just defeated Price Charles Williams twice and had 2 closish fights with Toney.

No, but he was def in Tarver and Griffin’s league, having beaten both. He was a talented fighter but went the same path as Jones by getting destroyed by Tarver and run over by Johnson in a poor choice of comeback fight...never regained form.

Yeah, but that’s not the reason why they never fought earlier.

Jones didn`t land much on Malinga early on it, was a boring fight until he caught him with a hook and followed up well.

Malinga was a defensive technician and his corner were telling him not to exchange so he fought on the backfoot. Jones still won every round, which against a boxer of Malinga's quality is impressive as was the explosive TKO

If you can’t find room for Reggie and Ruiz, I think he has a better resume than what many people believe.

Reggie Johnson is definitely too high on that list. He doesn't have much of a 175 resume.

He doesn’t, but he was still a very good fighter.

Roy beat him with absolute ease.

Nobody else ever beat Reggie like that.

Roy did the worse to Hill and Griffin and both were more highly regarded, especially Griffin.
