I know that Lacy was a slight favorite. Anyone know what it was?

2-to-1 Lacy based on punching power ( and hype) I suppose?

Lacy was a monster favorite. Its a great story, Warren had 10 grand on Joe to win, Warren cleared up anyway.

Lacy wasn't that heavy a favorite. The odds were slight.

Lacy 8/15 on just to win

Calzaghe 11/8 just to win - 15/8 to win on points

    British Bookmakers William Hill

This is an example of how media hyperbole brainwashes people into making stupid bets. Never bet against Joe Calzaghe is always a sound theory.

Right wrong word choice from me, i meant he was a 'monster favorite' in context i.e. 8/15 against Calzaghe are monster odds, great great value for money.

If odds on a Lacy win are 8/15, that does not mean that betting 8$ on Calzaghe will win you 15$.

    Even-ish.

It was a 50/50 fight, but the first 50/50 fight Cal had been in in YEARS. Hence why the fanboys blow it out of proportion.

alot of people think that if Lacy is 8/15 at the bookies, then that means the bookies think Lacy has a 15/23 (65%) chance of winning. But thats not the case.

In this fight according to the odds posted above the split was about 60/40 in favour of Lacy
