And do you know of any newspaper decision fights where two major newspapers reported drastically different scores/results?

I remember the Watson Vs Benn fight where every newspaper and every magazine had it as a stoppage win for Benn
But I remember Colin Hart from the The Sun newspaper in the UK saying Watson will Clock Big Benn in 6 , and he did, must admit I was surprised at the forecast , but after the 3rd round I saw Michael had him

Interesting, I don't think I ever saw the Watson fight.
I was talking more about the newspaper decision fights from back in the day. The ones that don't count on the official record

The most mystifying newspaper decision fight to me is Mike Gibbons-Packey McFarland. The newspapers were all over the place for that fight but in the long version of the film Gibbons is the aggressor, throws more, lands more, and frankly was the better boxer. Ive never understood the numerous papers (and there were a lot) who gave the fight to McFarland or had it a draw.
