What were you more impressed by, joshuas win over klitchko or furys win over wladamir

What crispy flush punches did Fury land? That was one boring, sloppy fight.

 

Styles..The main thing is that Wlad was a big favorite to win and then was schooled. In the AJ fight he was the underdog on foreign soil and nearly pulled off the KO.

 

Joshua 's win.

 

The bodybuilders win, because he hurt stopped Wlad, and knocked him down 3 times, while coming in at a heavier weight. Fury's win was tainted by the PED accusations, and the refusal to do blood tests. Not a fan of arm slaps, and pitty pat punches either.

 

One fought a combative, willing Klitschko, and the other didn't. I guess the answer to which is the more impressive depends on how much you're willing to credit Wlad's unwillingness to fight to Fury's performance (in-ring performance and psychological tactics in the build-up), and how much you consider it a mitigating circumstance (originating internally, within Klitschko himself, naught to do with anything Fury did) that caused fortune to smile upon him and gift him with a lineal HW championship he otherwise never would've earned on merit (with the understanding that a Klitschko as motivated to generate offense as he was vs. Joshua probably would knock Fury out)

Those who consider Fury's win a great one tend generally to feel the former way; I've always leaned in the direction of the latter.

Joshua faced the cornered animal of a once-dominant HW ATG raging against the dying of a light, and overcame that adversity. Fury didn't have to.

 

Yeah this. Joshua was fighting a different animal and prevailed. Fury was fighting Klitchko on a seriously 'off' night, after (by all accounts) a seriously bad camp. It isn't pointed out enough I don't think, even though I prefer Fury as a character.

 

This is hilarious to watch. I predicted a Joshua win, and I predicted it being a much harder fight than the Fury one, and I predicted people saying afterwards that the Klitschko that faced Joshua was better than the Klitschko that faced Fury... when if anything it'd be the other way around.

Very predictable stuff. Guys like Tyson Fury make the other guy look worse than they are, same as Hughie Fury - pretty funny (in the case of Joseph Parker) that when someone beats a Fury their stock DROPS when they potentially showed one of their best performances.

Unless Joshua lifts his game, or gets saved by his power - the "Klitschko" Fury beats the "Klitschko" Joshua convincingly.
