One of the best things about a big fight is the anticipation and excitement in the weeks, days leading up to it. Which fights were you the most excited about. For me, they were...

Lewis vs Tyson - Definitely the biggest fight in terms of anticipation. The excitement especially in the minutes before the fight itself was incredible.

De La Hoya vs Trinidad - Was in high school at the time and everyone there was talking about it. My first big pay per view fight my family and I got to watch live.

De La Hoya vs Vargas - Had been excited since it was announced, though, disappointed at the first postponement. Still, was excited and fight definitely lived up to the hype.

Im a sucker for the hype.

For me Calzaghe - Kessler, Tszyu - Hatton and a local one Green - Mundine were the most exciting.

When did I have a high pulse continously for days before the fight?... These:

    Kessler-Calzaghe

    Tyson-Rudduck

    Tyson-Stewart

and actually one that is really close: Vitaly-Peter. So many unknowns in that fight.. and all got answered. The fight itself wasn;t great, but the anticipation was and the performance was a brilliant as the performance by Peter was abysmal.

Most anticipated fight i've seen was Mayweather-De La Hoya...All mainstream sports fans anticipated this fight; that never happens in boxing.

Personally, Cotto-Mararito. I anticipated that one with great excitement because it was impossible for the fight to be a let down.

dela hoya - trinidad - 2 of the best welterweights during their era facing off for a unification fight... i bought this hype!

pacquiao - barrera - always thought pac would upset mab and i was right

    pacquiao - marquez 2 - of course!!

tyson - holyfield 2 - i though tyson would avange his loss but he decided to bite his ears off..:patsch

de la hoya jcc 2 - first time i've watched dlh fight... after that i became a fan

hamed - barrera - one of the fights that i truly anticipated... i thought it was competitive but we all knew what happened

barrera - morales 1 - i waited for this fight and i was not disappointed
