my scorecard was 86 to 84 for ortiz ...ps i never scored the 7rth rd a 10 to 8 rd ...i had rd 7 still a 10 to 9 rd ... i would luv to see wilder v joshua next with povetkin v ortiz on teh undercard ...fair fight both guys older ...but i really doubt povetkin is gonna risk his wba against a heavy hitter who just lost (ortiz)...
So you gave Wilder three rounds? 5th, 6th and 9th? Same here but I thought the 7th was a 10-8 beatdown. 96-93 Ortiz.
Rd 1 Ortiz 10-9 Rd 2 Wilder 10-9 Rd 3 Ortiz 10-9 Rd 4 Ortiz 10-9 Rd 5 Wilder 10-8 Rd 6 Wilder 10-9 Rd 7 Ortiz 10-8 Rd 8 Ortiz 10-9 Rd 9 Wilder 10-9 85-84 Ortiz
my scorecard Ortiz: : 1 , 3 , 4 , 7 , 8 - 85 Wilder : 2 , 5 (10-8 because of knockdown) , 6 , 9 - 85 But if count the 7th as 10-8, so Ortiz was up by 1 point
10-9 Ortiz 10-9 Ortiz 10-9 Ortiz 10-9 Ortiz 8-10 Wilder 10-9 Ortiz 10-8 Ortiz 10-9 Ortiz 9-10 Wilder 87-82 Ortiz
I had Ortiz winning every round except two, same as Steve Farhood, but Haymon's judges had Ortiz ahead, plus Haymon's referee gave Wilder extra time to recover, even the commentators mentioned it!
Scoring a Wilder fight is a waste of time, since he knocks everyone out eventually. Wilder doesn't care about winning rounds, since in the early rounds he just studies his opponent's patterns until he finds an opening for his right hand. Even Stiverne in the 1st fight would've got stopped if he didn't wrestle Wilder to the ground.
Doesn't matter how many points you had Ortiz up by, he got knocked the **** out in vicious fashion. Had Ortiz survived to a decision, he'd have lost on the cards anyways from all the knockdowns.
