What were your thoughts going into Holyfield-Qawi 1

    I remember thinking when Qwai moved up to 190 I wasn't happy. I thought he should have stayed at 175. The first time I saw him at 190 it looked like he was carrying too much weight.
    He lost a step or two by the Holy fight. I knew they both had great trainers so they would be prepared. I liked when Holy was with Benton I still think that was his best fit. I felt he pretty much stopped learning after that and started brawling alot more.
    Anyway I thought it was a pick em fight cause again Qwai's weight class but like everyone else the fight far exceeded my expectations and it still remains one of my all time favorite fights.
    Being from Philadelphia I followed Braxton early on and while at 175 he was one of my favorites of that time.

    Qwai was a fighter .. extremely strong, terrific chin, great defense, used his size to his advantage , excellent judge of distance for a small guy .. He reminds me of a Sam Langford except Sam had a longer reach and far better power ( no knock to Qwai there ) ..
