Did you think his career would recover?
Did you think he would become one of (if not) the greatest jr middleweight fighter ever after being knocked out by Jackson?
Did you think he would become as successful as he became after the ko?

Why i'm asking this question is because for some reason I have a feeling that Lubin having just been ko'd by Charlo... Has this Norris/Jackson kind of feeling to it... Where this Ko that Lubin just received could actually be the best thing that ever happened to him. In my Opinion.

    But what are your thoughts???

I was too busy working on my GI Joe and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles collection to notice.:D

But yeah, you're right about Lubin, he'll definitely work on his defense after this.

It's not fair to judge a man's entire career from 1 loss. He got beat by the better man in a fair fight. He'll bounce back. Some of the same guys giving Lubin flack worship Wladimir Klitschko like a god but forget he got his chin checked similar to Lubin by a absolute bum and went on to become one of the top heavyweights in the sport.

Lubin is young , this is a lesson to be learned.

The fighter who can bounce back from the KO loss should be applauded but I saw many fighters losing their confidence after the KO loss and they got KOed again and again after that. Johnny Lopez is one of them.

I remember being surprised because of the amount of hype on Norris at that point in time. He was a heavy favourite entering that fight. But hey, it’s boxing and it happens.

Incidentally I met Julian Jackson a couple of months ago, as I now manage his son who just turned pro. You will not meet a nicer, more down to earth guy than The Hawk! And yes, he’s still rocking the flat top!

Norris fought great against some guys after the Jackson bout but against others he was dreadful, I wouldn`t say he had a great career because he didn`t get to fight Trinidad or anyone on that level and if he had fought Jackson again we would have truly seen how far he had come since 1989. A better question to ask about Lubin is would have gone on to perform against the guys Norris fought in the same vein, will he actually go on to fight better opposition, Keith Mullins was a good fight for Norris, it would be good if Lubin could test his defense against a good but flawed counter puncher ss good as Mullins was, Norris was caught quite a bit in that fight but was past his best and his chin gave out, so another question of Lubin is does he have a weak chin like Terry did?
