What were your thoughts on Wilder back when he was saying he wanted to literally kill an opponent

Total cheesy twat and wannabe hardman. Also disgustingly two-faced considering the next minute he wanted everyone to feel sorry for him and his disabled daughter.

As hard as Wilder once hit, looking back, I don't think he actually meant it.

And looking at his actual mental demeanor and philosophical's now, I'd say, as far as killing is concerned, he was always full of shite...

Well, he honestly never seemed quite the same after that, did he?

He went from killer warrior to a happy waffling & rambling hippy.

They had to cut him short in some of the live pre fight interviews.

Poor human being. You don't say stuff like that and especially the way he says it. Like he truly means. Like, no, but wait, I actually really do want to kill someone in the ring.

    Yeah I don't like that.

I find it interesting that people believe this isn't what Wilder really is deep inside, that it's just an act. That he's really just a decent guy who'd own a little cake shop in the neighbourhood if he hadn't got rich in prize fighting. You'd have bbq's with him on the weekend and play Mariokart with his babymamas and the kids. Maybe he'd help you fix your car and you'd exchange Basketball cards and retro CDs.
People really need to wake up.

If Wilder hadn't got rich attacking people in the ring, he'd almost certainly be getting 'into trouble' on the street. That's exactly what his IQ level and character traits suggest. So when he says he wants to kill a man, I believe that he probably does have the instinct to commit random acts of violence on the street, including murdering if the opportunity is there. Do people actually believe Wilder isn't the type of individual to be attracted to 'thug life'?

When you have the charisma of a Tyson, you can get away with it. Not saying it's right but it's the way it is.

I agree with you but it doesn’t make it right that some words from wilder are worse than even worse words and actions from others because they have “charisma”.

also, wilder always has been a pretty spiritual person with a friendly deep personality. It’s only in fight time and in “moments” he has that “monster” come out which is like many fighters, they need it and we need it.

Ayahuasca made him too hippy to be a fighter though. Now he is that all the time.

Wilder is the son of a preacher, grew up in church, has lots of kids and was a lorry driver before boxing. He’s got a hippy personality and dress sense and grew up in a little place I’ve never heard of called Tuscaloosa.

what on earth screams “thug life” Street boy?

That’s Mike Tyson, or Tyson fury, and the world loves them anyway so what’s the issue?
