To me they were. Chartchai Saskatul. WBC and linear Flyweight champ. Pac was a huge underdog in that fight. Barrera. A top p4p at the time. Was heavily facvored over Pac. JMM the second fight. i had it a draw myself but won't argue with the sd. Cotto. Pac made a good fighter look bad.
Barerra...which is better than Floyd entire career. PAC is and will be a legend. His back to back fights of Barerra, Marquez, and Morales are just awesome. And he did it again when he fought Dela Hoya, Hatton, and Cotto.
Barerra was not the same after that war with Morales...his best win was against Lehlohonolo Ledwaba...when he was a nobody went to the USA and took the South African's soul...
The Cotto fight was incredible imo and a great performance. Barerra was a great win. People undervalue his win against Hatton these days. It's a shame how time can take a shine of things.
Sasakul. First fight in Thailand 19 years old. Lebwaba.2 weeks notice. Margarito. Busted him up although he was running in that fight because Rito can eat punches all day and keep coming. Hard fight. Hatton. Highlight reel type KO and the only one who literally went to sleep. Morales, Marquez, Barrera: Combined is freaking no joke. Those 3 be it past prime slightly are legends and are no easy pickings.Morales was 28 at the time.I had him losing 3 times to Marquez. When I am feeling generous a draw or a slight win to Pac.But Marquez just has his number. So does Morales if he was in his prime. But still Pacquiao went there and did better than what most would against the 3 amigos.Shook em up!
PAC is so good that fighting Dela Hoya, Hatton, Cotto, Clottey, Margarito, Mosley, Marquez, and Bradley is cherry picking.
